Changing hours for the Winter

Just a note to let you know we are changing our hours for the winter.  Saturday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

What a wonderful Christmas Open House we had

Thanks so much to everyone who was able to come yesterday and today- we were so busy all day!  By the time I got a few pictures, so much was already gone

I loved making these signs, which is a good thing since I need to make more

we got in some new candle scents this week- Nutmeg and Chutney is my favorite and Orange Clove smells so good for Christmas time

 

 Santa bear and his candy cane, and those are our new candle boxes perfect for greens and a grubby candle.  And the cutest little cross stitch

 I love the new farm table Clay made.  It's 6' long and has a distressed pine top, the legs are beautiful

 

 

 

 This is the cutest gingerman my friend Gloria made for me.  Gloria, Vicky, and Heather have Olde Green Cupboard Designs and they are 3 very talented ladies- they design fabric and patterns and Heather makes the most adorable mohair critters you have ever seen. Gloria has the gingers for sale on her site http://www.oldegreencupboard.com/ - order one before they all run away!

 

  This stocking is made from wool and has a little snowman cross stitch

 

This is my favorite bench, it is much darker in person- the flash on my camera made everything look brighter than it is

Lot's of new fall wools and thread in the shop.  I love the old cellar table, it still has traces of the original pumpkin colored paint on the apron and drawer.

For the love of thread....

I got my order of Valdani over-dyed threads in yesterday. How can such a small thing make you so happy... I had the best time today with it!  Such beautiful fall colors.  Come get some for your fall projects.

 

 

 

And, I have over-dyed floss coming in next week for all those wonderful primitive cross-stitch projects on your list.  These threads are by The Gentle Art and they are wonderful also.

Fall Pocket

Punch needle pocket I finally finished.  I have some wild black-eyed susans drying that will be pretty tucked inside.  Wish I could find some bittersweet around here, maybe I can order some!
