Old Buttons...

I had a relaxing day listening to the rain on the roof and sorting through a big bowl of buttons, picking out the old white one's to go in the bins of our counter.  It is getting a much needed make-over.


here's a little peek of the counter, I am trying to find some antique hinges


 
Black-eyed Susans and Purple Cones are popping their sweet little heads up everywhere!  They did enjoy the gentle rain today
 


Tonight I am starting a new sampler by Stacy Nash, wish me luck, I have a hard time finishing a bigger piece before I start something new!

    I am the same way about finishing large needlework projects. I want to do them, buy them, get off to a good start and then.... Well they go into the pile of UFO's (Unfinished objects)

    The counters look lovely to me.. maybe though a change of knobs will make them more nicer.. I love Black-eyed Susans keep saying I'm going to plant some in the Garden but never get around to it.. Lovely blog.. with love Janice
